Loved the music this show, especially the pod safe party song! Never fails to surprise me how rigid G’s ideas are in terms of morality. I think the thing missed in your rant was that old fashioned porn laws don’t function too well in todays electronic media world. I tend to think it isn’t so much levels of grey, but rather new laws that deal with the issues of today, that’s what we need. FWIW, I think anyone looking at a pic of a kid (~15 or so) is sick, doesn’t matter if there is just a year difference or many years age difference. But above that.. like 17 or 18, that’s where laws pertaining to old media don’t apply well to new media.
For the record, I can’t spell worth shit and I type even worse and it has nothing to do with texting.
Is is perverted for a 16-year-old boy to look at a naked photo that his 15-year-old boyfriend texted him?
First- this is where the old laws and new media kick in: someone taking his own pic and sending it off is a lot different than pics taken and printed in some magazine and sold to a mass audience.
Second- yes, I think there is something odd about a 15yo sending a pic to a 16yo. I wouldn’t call it perverted, but I question either kid’s sense of self worth or authenticity of the feelings between them.
Maybe I’d feel differently, except I wasn’t sexually active till I was 18. Maybe if I had been active before that I might see it differently.
I agree with your first point, but according to a recent episode of Dr. Phil, Oral Sex is the New Goodnight Kiss. Apparently, kids today are sluts.
Anyway, we should end this conversation before too many pedophiles find this site on Google.
