Ok, so I agree with both of you , albeit on different points. I do believe that gay men are much more acceptable to the straight world when we are comedic and stereotypical, we are so much less threatening in that light.
As for one’s right to “act” stereotypical, well of course that is what this country was founded upon, individuals freedoms.
The whole celebrity infatuation thing is not concentrated in the gay community only, the straight community is just as infatuated and to me this indicates how very shallow and needing we as a nation are. Why is it we need to idolize the hollywood dream, why can’t we find something within ourselves to be enthralled with? Let’s bring ourselves, each and everyone, to a place where we can find pride in our own self, how little or much we may have?

As for the Chantix, well I don’t have first hand experience with it but through Ray’s use of it, I know that is a great tool and it does seem to curb craving, bitchiness etc. Unfortunately, and I take full responsibilty (as I continued to smoke) for this, he started smoking again after about 10 months. Support is definitely a key in the quitting process it appears.

Oh but one can dream!!!!!! Billy Mays as a ‘mo, woof!!!! Unfortunately, he is married but then that often isn’t a deterrent to getting a little one on one action!!!!!!
