The April Fool's stuff was great, and Brian and Norm held their own hosting the G-Spod. Nice going all the way around.

One other thing -- keep talking about pet adoptions. My wife and I have had two cats -- one we adopted from a shelter and a stray who kind of adopted us -- and we would never consider another way of bringing our next family member into our lives, especially not when there are so many that need a good home.

Dan, you are now the man.

Dawn, your cat sounds like a prince. It is a shame that your friends have had to go through so much to rescue an animal, but the shelters have good reason. I rescued a cat in college because a fraternity brother had bought one for his girlfriend and one for himself, and was not caring for him. His name was Chester, and when I got him he smelled like weed.

funkyskull, we keep Sheila five feet away from everything. I'm sure she'll be back after her reassignment.

Where has Sheila been??

If and when she comes back, can you ask her to please speak up? She often sounds like she is standing 5 feet away from the mic. Thanks!

SO famous now! :)

Thanks for responding to my comment! I'll gladly tell you about the whole "cat extermination" ordeal another time, complete with ranting and raving. I did want to add, though, that my parents rescued a full bred huskey from a shelter, so you don't necessarily have to go to a breeder for full blooded and certified pets. As you know I rescued my one cat, and the other was given to me for my brithday and is a pure bred Seal Point Bi-colour short haired Himalayan (there's a mouthful!). My friends went through two months of paperwork and "house checks" before they were allowed to rescue the cat from the shelter. They had to tell the shelter that they were keeping Tybalt, otherwise they wouldn't let them adopt because giving pets as gifts is one of the main reason they end up back in shelters. I'm glad they dwent through all the trouble, but I understand the need for shelters to make sure adoptive homes aren't going to just end up tossing the new pet back into the street.

Great show, hilarious spoof (Fish?! I don't think I've heard *that* before!), and a good time as always!
